Sunlit – Original
Original artwork Australia by graphic impressionist Solveig.
I painted this when my husband was dying. I would do what I could for him. For me, when there was time, I would go to the sunlit glade, just back from the beach at Brunswick Heads. I would sit and put my head down on the wooden table and listen to the surf and the breezes through the she-oaks. It was cool and peaceful, allowing me to recover myself before the next shift. I didn’t have time to actually go there, so I painted it instead.
