As I sat by the river watching the calm agitation of its liquid surface, the Sun appeared between the clouds and dove down to bathe in that cooling, cleansing water. He lingered and surrendered to the fluidity, shone like molten gold and platinum, and became a creature of the river. Then withdrew as if the clouds had wrapped him in a dressing gown and whisked him away.
